I'm in Taipei! And writing briefly, since I have to be up again in 6 hours and we have a full day of museum-seeing ahead of us.
So, moments of note today:
1.) I drove myself to school! And survived rush hour traffic on several major roads, which was a bonus. Also, discovered that it is 100% normal to go 20km/hr over the speed limit, and that I will be needing goggles and/or sunglasses for the stuff flying through the air.
2.) I came to Taipei and met all the other Fulbright grantees. There was much rejoicing.
3.) There was more rejoicing afterwards, and it involved some very wonderfully funny moments with Alex and Steven. :)
